BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. -- An 80-year-old Bartholomew County man was found dead in a private lake Thursday evening.
Lloyd Grimm was reported missing by his family around 8 p.m. in the southwestern part of the county.
While searching the area, deputies with the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department located Grimm in the water near the dam of a private lake off South 800 West near the Brown County line.
Bartholomew County Coroner Clayton Nolting said it appeared Grimm was clearing debris from an overflow pipe at the lake's dam when the drowning occurred.
The drowning remains under investigation by the Bartholomew County Coroner's Office but no foul play is suspected at this time.
