INDIANAPOLIS — A local adoption agency is looking for families to help change a child's life.
Kids First plans to host a group of orphans from Ukraine for about two weeks in December. The kids will be between 10 and 14-years-old, and the organization said hosting these children, who come from difficult circumstances, shows a child what it means to be loved.
"It is honestly a win-win situation because it is very enjoyable for children, and it is extremely satisfying for families who bring this joy to them," Kids First director of adoption services Inna Pecar said.
Host families must be from the Indianapolis area, have at least one family member stay at home with the child or children, complete 10 hours of orientation training provided by Kids First and agree to a home study visit.
Anyone who is interested should call Kids First at 317-843-2300.
