A Hamilton County legend on four legs – a dog on the run for close to a decade – is now looking for a forever home.
Sally's life has not been easy. But, things took a turn for the worse when she developed a tumor the size of a watermelon.
After she jumped from her owner's car as a pup, Sally spent seven years on her own; wandering up to Noblesville and unofficially becoming a community mascot.
Neighbors loved her so much they became worried when they saw she had a tumor.
In August, Sally was caught and rushed to surgery, where a 13-pound tumor was removed.
Now, tumor-less and perfectly healthy, Sally is looking for somewhere to settle down.
If you think she might be the right dog for you, the Hamilton County Humane Society says she's up for adoption. Contact them at (317) 773-4974 or visit their Facebook page here.
