Alaska Airlines adds daily nonstop flights from Indianapolis to San Francisco

INDIANAPOLIS -- You will soon have another option when flying from Indianapolis to the West Coast and Pacific Northwest.

Alaska Airlines announced Thursday that it will begin daily nonstop service from Indy to San Francisco on September 26.

The airline announced last August that it would add nonstop flights to Seattle on May 17, 2017.

Three other airlines recently added new nonstop service from Indianapolis.

On Tuesday, Frontier Airlines announced it wasadding a nonstop flight to Las Vegasbeginning in July. The flights will leave Indianapolis on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays year-round.

Southwest Airlines will beginnonstop seasonal flights to San Diego and new flights between New York via Newark and Indianapolis starting in June.

And Allegiant Airlines will add year-round nonstop flights to Austin, Texas and seasonal service to Destin/Fort Walton Beach in May.
