INDIANAPOLIS – You now have another option when flying from Indianapolis to the West Coast.
Alaska Airlines began their nonstop flights from Indy to Seattle on Thursday.
It's one of many nonstop flights the airport has added recently. Just last month, Alaska Airlines announced that it would add nonstop flights to San Francisco starting in September.
Three other airlines have recently added new nonstop service from Indianapolis as well.
Last month, Frontier Airlines announced it wasadding a nonstop flight to Las Vegasbeginning in July. The flights will leave Indianapolis on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays year-round.

Southwest Airlines will beginnonstop seasonal flights to San Diego and new flights between New York via Newark and Indianapolis starting in June.
And Allegiant Airlines will add year-round nonstop flights to Austin, Texas and seasonal service to Destin/Fort Walton Beach in May.
