SPEEDWAY — In addition to the Hampton Inn and Crew Car Wash coming to Founders Square in Speedway, developers announced ALDI will also be apart of the development.

The Founders Square development is a 25-acre development project located off I-465 at the northwest corner of Crawfordsville and High School Roads.

When the Town of Speedway hosted a resident listening session to gather feedback on the then-possibility of a master development in the area, the community's top response was the want for a national grocery store.

“When we began this redevelopment process for Founders Square, we asked our residents what their top priorities were for the Town,” Tim Gropp, Speedway's economic development director, stated. “By far, the number one response was to have an additional option for groceries. We are pleased that ALDI has fulfilled this need in our community.”

The planned 20,400 square-foot ALDI location is planned to be complete this summer, according to Rebar Development.
