INDIANAPOLIS -- A missing person alert was issued Wednesday for a 71-year-old Indianapolis man who may have dementia.
Police said Herbert Johnson, 71, was reported missing on Dec. 11 by a family member.
Johnson had last mentioned needing to go to the hospital, and had been at IU Methodist Hospital on Dec. 10, but was discharged the same day.
Family members say Johnson may be suffering from undiagnosed dementia. He also suffers from black-outs and seizures.
Johnson is a black male standing about 5'4" and weighing around 130 pounds. He has brown eyes and a prosthetic left eye.
Anyone who encounters Johnsons is asked to call 911 immediately.
