LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department put out an alert Wednesday for a missing teen.
William Johns, 17, was last seen around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday in the area of State Road 43 and County Road 600 North.
Johns is described as standing 5'11" tall and weighing around 140 pounds, with short brown hair and hazel eyes.
He was last seen wearing a maroon sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He may also be wearing a gold chain.
Police said Johns is taking medication that he has not had for approximately 20 hours and that he may be in danger without the medication.
