MORGAN CO., Ind. -- All lanes of SR 37 Morgan County were back open to traffic Friday evening.
They were closed after a hydrochloric acid spill around 12:30 p.m.
Officials with Morgan County Emergency Management say a 300 gallon tub of acid on a truck began to leak.
The driver continued on for 1/2 mile after the spill before stopping.
Five homes that are downwind of the spill were evacuated, as well as students going to summer school in the area.
