INDIANAPOLIS -- Police arrested a 28-year-old Indianapolis man Wednesday in connection with a fatal hit-and run earlier-this month.
Jesse McLemore, 28, was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of the crash that killed 39-year-old Ryan Ziemer on the 1100 block of Norton Avenue on March 11.

Emergency crews arrived on scene to find a black SUV occupied by two passengers in the front yard of a home. The SUV appeared to have been heavily damaged from striking a brick pillar on the passenger side.
One of the passengers, Ziemer, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in serious condition.
McLemore was being held at the Marion County Jail.
