INDIANAPOLIS -- Two days before she died, Amanda Blackburn wrote her last prayer journal entry.
"Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim. In the light of his glory and grace," she wrote Monday, November 9, according to her husband, Davey Blackburn.
The next morning, Blackburn was shot in the head during a home break-in while her 15-month-old son was in the home.
Blackburn died less than a day later from her injuries. She was 12 weeks pregnant.
Two men have been charged in her death.
