INDIANAPOLIS -- An ambulance collided with a utility truck on Indianapolis' northeast side Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. when the ambulance swerved to avoid another collision and struck the truck.

Inside the ambulance was a victim of a nearby shooting, but emergency officials did not provide where the person was shot. A shooting is being investigated at 38th and Oxford streets that involves two people, but again, no connection has yet been made to this incident.
