ANDERSON, Ind. – A man died after being found with a gunshot wound in a vehicle Thursday night.
Anderson police responded to a call in the 1500 block of Weatherly Way after a report of gun shots in the area.
When officers arrived, they found 35-year-old Jeremy Silvey unresponsive inside a parked vehicle at Lynnwood Village Apartments.
Silvey was taken to St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital and died the next day.
A witness told police they saw a person wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt leaving the area around the time gunshots were heard.
Police are looking for a suspect and they are investigating the death as a homicide.
