Antiques Roadshow tapes in Indy

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS – Thousands of fans of Antiques Roadshow hope to make a buck or two off their old stuff, or at least find out if that's possible.

About 5,000 people brought heirlooms to the Indiana Convention Center on Saturday, where the PBS show held a taping for their upcoming season.  The 5,000 were chosen out of more than 21,000 who applied for tickets – producers of the show say it was the largest ticket request of any of their taping locations.

70 appraisers looked at items such as artwork, jewelry and furniture.  Indianapolis is one of six cities features in the 2017 season of Antiques Roadshow.  Producers have not said when the episode will air.
