Armed robbery at Carmel gas station

CARMEL, Ind. -- Police are asking for your help to identify the suspect who robbed a gas station Saturday morning in Carmel.

Officers say the man walked into the Marathon gas station at 9800 N. Michigan Rd. around 1:00 a.m.

He showed the clerk a handgun and demanded money.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, approximately 5'9", weighing around 150-175 pounds.

He was wearing a dark brown hoodie sweatshirt, black pants and shoes, and his face was covered.

The clerk described the man as wearing gold-framed women's sunglasses and an orange construction safety vest.
