INDIANAPOLIS — Fire heavily damaged an armored truck near Indianapolis International Airport, late Wednesday morning.
Wayne Township firefighters were called to the Crown Plaza Hotel on South High School Road were the truck was on fire in the hotel's drive up entrance.
According to the fire department, smoke could be seen two miles away.
The fire did not damage any of the hotel or the contents of the truck, and there were no injuries.
The cause has been ruled accidental.
