INDIANAPOLIS – Police arrested a man for a murder that took place in Indy more than nine months ago.
Kaijuan Julius, 21, was arrested in connection with the murder of Dennis Vaughn. The 36-year-old man was found dead inside a house on Centennial Street just east of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 30, 2015. Vaughn died of a gunshot wound at the scene.
IMPD did not say where Julius was arrested, only that he was found by the department’s violent crimes unit, and that he was also charged with possession of a handgun without a license.
