INDIANAPOLIS -- Metro Police have arrested one man for a shootout in motel parking lot last month that left another man dead.
Demarcus Poole, 23, faces preliminary charges of reckless homicide and armed robbery for the May 4th shooting that killed Oscar Gonzalez, 18.
Investigators believe Poole and Gonzales were involved in an altercation and robbery that led to a shootout in the parking lot of the Knights Inn on East 21st St.
Gonzalaz was found a few blocks from the motel in a car, with a gunshot wound to the leg. He later died at Eskenazi Hospital.
Police found Poole inside a room at the motel, also suffering from a gunshot wound.
Poole is in the Marion County Jail.
