FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Flood waters in Franklin are receding, but residents are not out of the woods quite yet.

There is a lot of clean up left to do, and some roads remain closed.

The Director of Johnson County Emergency Management tells RTV6 she is anticipating additional flooding during Thursday's storms, so they're asking residents to be proactive.

"If it's not in their homes, if they have drains, they need to make sure they're clear now because with all the debris floating around with water. They need to make sure those drains are clear so the water will have some place to go," explained Director of Johnson County Emergency Management, Stephanie Sichting.

The Johnson County Highway Department also has sandbags available.

If you experienced flood damage, you are asked to call Johnson County Emergency Management at 317-736-9064.
