INDIANAPOLIS -- An Avon woman died after being involved in a crash Wednesday night.

Police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and County Road 100 South around 8:25 p.m.

The driver of one of the vehicles, 26-year-old Lisa Strueh, died at Methodist Hospital.

The other driver, 19-year-old Iqpal Kandhola of Indianapolis, and a passenger were treated for minor injuries and released.

Investigators say it appears Kandhola was headed south on Ronald Reagan when his vehicle hit Ms. Strueh's as she was driving on County Road 100 South.

The accident is still under investigation.

Police say Kandhola is cooperating and a number of witnesses have come forward to assist in the investigation.

This was the second deadly crash in Avon Wednesday night.

17-year-old Jonathan Legg died when his car went off the road and hit a tree.
