MUNCIE, Ind. -- Muncie police have taken a man seen with a gun in the area of Ball State University into custody.
An alert was sent out to Ball State's emergency text service and a message was posted to the university's website around 5:25 p.m. Friday.
The suspect was seen traveling westbound at Tillotson Ave and McGalliard Road in an older red vehicle. The suspect was only described as a younger white male.
