INDIANAPOLIS — Former two-term Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson has returned to a job he left in May.
Peterson has rejoined Christel House International as president and chief executive officer. He'll lead the educational non-profit which lost it founder with the death of Christel DeHaan in June.
Besides his eight years as mayor, Peterson was the senior vice president of corporate affairs at Eli Lilly and Company.
Christel House International has schools in Indianapolis, India, Mexico, Venezuela and South Africa. It's stated goal is to lift children out of poverty through education.
