BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. -- First responders across Indiana will learn safety measures that should take place if a train hits a car during a special training this weekend in Columbus, Indiana.
The Bartholomew County Trauma Camp will take place Friday and Sunday at the county 4H fairgrounds, just south of Columbus.
The training will include a mock crossing collision and offer advice on how to stay safe at railroad crossings during such emergencies.
An IU Health LifeLine helicopter will also participate in the training.
