Teen injured following school bus crash in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A teenager was seriously injured following a school bus crash in Columbus, Indiana Friday afternoon.

The Columbus Fire Department said a car, driven by 16-year-old Lynley Arnholt, crashed into the back of the school bus in the 1500 block of N. Gladstone Avenue. 

Emergency crews airlifted the driver of the car to a IU Methodist hospital. 

Investigators said there were a few students on the bus but none were hurt.

Police did not say what caused the incident to happen.
