INDIANAPOLIS -- One man is dead after he was hit by a car while riding his bike Saturday night. The car left the scene.
The man has been identified as Charles Jones, 27, of Indianapolis.
The crash happened on the city's east side at the intersection of East Michigan Street and North Euclid Avenue.

When police arrived, the man was lying in the roadway. He died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Investigators have not released information about the vehicle that hit him.
