INDIANAPOLIS — Get ready for another big interstate closure in Central Indiana.
The Indiana Department of Transportation will close all lanes of Interstate 70 from I-465 to the south split for nine days beginning at 9 p.m. Friday.
Both eastbound and westbound I-70 will be shut down until 6 a.m. Monday Aug. 5.
During the I-70 closure, INDOT says you should take I-465 eastbound to I-65 northbound to get downtown and I-65 southbound to I-465 westbound to get out of downtown.
