INDIANAPOLIS—The weather still says summer, but in just three-months, college basketball's 2019-20 season begins.
Friday, the Big Ten announced its conference men's schedule for the coming season. Featured are two meetings between Indiana and Purdue, both in February. The Boilermakers will travel to Indiana on February 8, and Purdue will host the Hoosiers on February 27.
As has been the case in recent seasons, the conference will open with a week of games in December. Indiana heads to Wisconsin on Dec. 7 and hosts Nebraska on Dec. 13. Northwestern will be at Purdue on Dec. 8 and the Boilermakers travel to Nebraska on Dec. 15.
Then it's back to non-conference play until Jan. 2.
The Hoosiers open their season Nov. 5 at home against Western Illinois. Purdue's first opponent is Southern Indiana, Nov. 1 at West Lafayette.
The Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament returns to Indianapolis this season with games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in March.
