BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle Sunday afternoon.
Jonathan Sinders,18, of Bloomington was killed after a 2001 Chevy Cavalier, driven by Adriana Nikte De Paz, 20, drove onto the sidewalk around 4:30 p.m.
Indiana State Police troopers believe De Paz was driving westbound on State Road 46 when her vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons, crossed the raised concrete curb and hit Sinders.
Troopers said De Paz was transported to IU Health Bloomington.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
