BLOOMINGTON — Police have arrested a 20-year-old man after he admitted to taking nude videos of two female roommates at the off-campus apartment they all shared in Bloomington.
The victims, both 19, came to Bloomington Police this week with concerns about roommate Tyler Best.
They told investigators that a package from China labeled "mini pen hidden DVR camera," had arrived for Best.
Last October, one of the victims told police she had located a black device behind her bedroom door that she thought was a camera.
At the time, police said they were not able to make contact with Best.
This week, they did.
A probable cause affidavit said Best at first admitted to using a camera for "security reasons," but then later changed his story and said he had placed a camera in each victim's bedroom without their knowledge and had recorded footage when they were nude.
Best faces two counts of voyeurism, a felony.
