BLOOMINGTON—Bob Knight was back on the IU-Bloomington campus, Saturday.
It was his first public appearance at the school since his firing in 2000.
The former Hoosier basketball coach appeared at an IU baseball game.
Knight. who is 78, was driven into the stadium in a golf cart.
He was fired in 2000 following a series of incidents.
Knight was IU's coach from 1971 to 2000 and won three national championships with the Hoosiers.
After his firing at IU, Knight became head coach at Texas Tech and did some television broadcasting.
In recent weeks, there have been reports that Knight is suffering from some health problems.
Earlier this week, he took part in a question-and-answer event at Center Grove High School in Johnson County.
