GREENWOOD — The Johnson County Coroner's office has identified the body of the man who was found deceased in a drainage ditch in Greenwood on Friday, March 6.
Werner Gadshian, 70, from Whiteland, Indiana, was found by a pedestrian near State Road 135 and Swartz Crossing.

Johnson County Coroner Mike Pruitt said Garshian was reported missing and last seen on August 31, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m. Available information indicated that he had a history of dementia.
An autopsy was completed on Monday, and more testing is being conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
