HENDRICKS COUNTY—Indiana State Police say a person jumped to their death off a bridge over I 70 in Hendricks County, late Monday.
The incident forced police to close both eastbound lanes of the busy highway and one westbound lane near the State Road 39 exit.
Troopers who arrived at the scene were not sure at first in a person had died in an accident or some other manner.
The body was found in the median of the highway.
Investigators later determined that the death was a suicide.
