OOLITIC, Ind. -- The body of a man was discovered and pulled from Salt Creek just south of Bloomington Monday morning.

Indiana Conservation Officers are on the scene investigating the death as a drowning. Lawrence County emergency personnel were called to the creek at approximately 10:17 a.m. upon receiving a call of a person struggling in the water near the 1100 block of Lafayette Avenue, according to the Bloomington Herald Times.

Indiana Conservation officers said the man's body was recovered in an area of water about 4' deep at 10:58 a.m.

The victim was identified as Lloyd Wilson, 36, of Bedford, Indiana.

An autopsy was scheduled to determine Wilson's cause of death.
