MICHIGAN CITY —Indiana Conservation Officers recovered a missing 17-year-old's body in Lake Michigan on Wednesday.
Rahem Mason's body was found along a beach in Berrien County, Michigan around 12:40 p.m. by the Chikaming Township Police Department.
Mason was last seen near Washington Park in Michigan City, where witnesses say they saw the 17-year-old go underwater but did not come back to the surface.
The official cause of death will be determined by the Berrien County Medical Examiner's Officer — however, officials believe it is an accidental drowning.
