Police hope new reconstruction of Jane doe found dead in Boone Co. in 1992 will lead to answers

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. — The NamUs program has released an updated digital reconstruction of an unidentified woman who was found dead in Lebanon back in 1992. 

A farmer found the woman's body at the bottom of a hill near the northbound ramp to I-65 from State Road 47 on May 3, 1992. She was estimated to be between 17 and 22 years old at the time of her death. 

The unidentified woman was estimated to be around 5 feet 6 inches tall with short reddish brown hair. She had a tattoo of "MOM" on her upper right arm, a tattoo of "LOVE" and another with two hearts on her right breast and a tattoo of a cross on her right hand. She was wearing a  yellow tank top and socks when her body was found.
