LEBANON, Ind. -- A piece of history is coming to Lebanon with the goal of providing a new space for Boone County residents to remember those killed in the 9/11 terror attacks.
The city of Lebanon announced a new memorial will be unveiled in May of 2018.
The display will feature a piece of the fallen World Trade Center towers.
A&K Custom Monument Service will build the new display that will be located outside Lebanon Fire Station 11 on Lasley Drive.
The city hopes the new memorial will be place for residents to pay their respects and remember the lives lost on 9/11.
