GREENWOOD, Ind. -- A Greenwood boutique's Facebook post went viral this week when the owner stood up for women of all sizes.
Jenny Russell says she opened her clothing boutique, Jendaisy, to build a business not only to sell cute clothes, but to build a safe place for women to feel good about themselves no matter their size.
"Just through my life I've experienced things about how clothes can affect you as a woman," Russell said.
Russell said she uses her own workers to model the clothes for their social media sites. When someone posts something cruel, she steps in.
"I police [Facebook] very heavily so that my girls don't see those comments, because I don't want them to be hurt," she said.
After deleting a number of mean comments, Russell decided it was time to speak out for women of all sizes.
"I thought about it, prayed about it, of what to say, then I just let my heart open up," she said.
Just hours after posting, Russell's message had already received thousands of likes, shares and comments
"It makes me tear up, because I go about my day just really wanting to love on people, and sometimes you can see when the need is there," she said. "And then we get comments that we've changed their life, or the way they felt about themselves, and that's what we are all about.
