INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman, worried she would be spending her wedding night at home, will get to stay at a hotel after all.
Chelsea Collier booked a room for May 28 at the DoubleTree Suites in Carmel.
Collier says she knew it was Indy 500 weekend and that's why she reserved a hotel room well in advance.
Last week, Collier got an email from the hotel with 'some unfortunate news.'
There would be no room available for her on the 28th due to construction delays.
Collier says she was told over the phone that all of the rooms were booked because of the race.
She thought she and her new husband would be spending their wedding night at home with family and friends.
But after RTV6 contacted the DoubleTree Suites on Wednesday, they told us that Collier would have a hotel room on her wedding night after all.
