Suspect car found, victim's brother sought in fatal Brownsburg shooting

BROWNSBURG, Ind. -- Police recovered a vehicle connected to a deadly shooting that happened in Brownsburg Thursday night.

The car was recovered Friday afternoon near I-74 in Montgomery County.

Christopher Brabson, 30, was shot and killed Thursday night on the 7000 block of Meadow Trail.

Police are looking for Brabson's 28-year-old brother, Justin. Both Christopher and Justin lived in the same apartment. 

A police spokeswoman said Justin Brabson is a "person of interest," but would not elaborate.

There was no forced entry into the apartment where Christopher was found. Police have no information about the motive of the shooting. 

Justin Brabson's vehicle, a maroon 1997 Toyota Camry, was seen leaving the apartment complex at a high rate of speed. 

Police also conducted a search of the Brabsons' parents' home in Zionsville. The search was reportedly requested by the parents.
