Bullets narrowly miss woman in SE side house

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS -- Bullets barely missed the niece of a southeast side woman when someone fired several shots at her house Sunday.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. At least three shots entered the home, shattering the front door and barely missing a 30-year-old woman inside.

The woman who owns the home said she believes the motive is a dispute with a friend of her late husband, who believes the home belonged to him after the man's death.

No one was hurt in the shooting. Witnesses told police a white man driving a blue van fired the shots. They said he has dark hair and tattoos on his arms.
