Burglars cut hole in roof at Lowe's

FRANKLIN -- Franklin Police are searching for the burglars who cut a whole in the roof of a Lowe's early Thursday morning.

Employees at the store at 2219 N. Morton Street say they noticed something was wrong when they were opening for the day.

They told police that several buckets of copper plumbing items and wire products were in an aisle.

In addition, there was a ladder close by that led up to a hole cut in the roof.

Officers didn't find any suspects in the store. 

It's not known whether in fact anything was stolen.

Police say they are looking for several suspects.
