INDIANAPOLIS -- Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department returned to where they found multiple stolen trucks in August, and arrested the owner of the property Wednesday afternoon.
Robert Kuntz, 47, was arrested in the 1500 block of Dudley South Drive Wednesday on an arrest warrant out of Morgan County. The warrant was for possession of an altered handgun, a Level 5 felony.
The warrant was served by the Indiana State Police and Metro Police Auto Theft Task Force. The task force removed six stolen Ford heavy duty trucks from the property behind Kuntz’s home in August.
The vehicles were stripped of parts inside and out. The trucks had been reported stolen in Monroe, Marion, and Hendricks counties.
Kuntz was not arrested in connection to that discovery.
State police say their investigation into the stolen Ford trucks remains ongoing.
