INDIANAPOLIS --- Two managers of three Indianapolis used car dealerships admitted their guilt in court Monday.
Amy Lair and Brandi Pierson both pleaded guilty Monday to charges of failure to remit taxes.
Each of them will only spend two days in jail, as the rest of their sentences were suspended.
Lair was ordered to pay nearly $162,000 in restitution and Pierson was ordered to pay nearly $430,000.
Both women worked for Circle City Auto Connection, Indy Auto Brokers and Circle City Auto Exchange.
Records show Lair and Pierson collected sales tax but failed to report and pay more than $500,000 to the Indiana Department of Revenue over the course of five years.
