CARMEL, Ind. -- Carmel police say the body of a missing man was found Thursday in Putnam County.
John Schlieper, 49, was reported missing last Saturday.
He left his girlfriend's house early on July 2 and hadn't been heard from or seen since.
Authorities said he had been struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide.
Schlieper's black BMW was found earlier this week close to Lieber State Park in Putnam County.
