Silver Alert canceled for "missing and endangered" Carmel man

UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been canceled for Tyler Lott. No other details have been released.

CARMEL — A statewide Silver Alert has now been issued for a missing man out of Carmel.

The Carmel Police Department is investigating the report of a missing/endangered person.

Tyler Lott, 30, was last seen in the area of Carmel Drive and Range Line Road on November 5, 2019 at approximately 9:26 a.m. He is believed to be driving a silver 2006 Mercedes Benz ML350 with Indiana registration, 106RHQ.

Police say they received a tip that Lott may have been in the area of the Geico building in Carmel early Monday afternoon, but after a brief lockdown and SWAT search of the building and area they were unable to locate him.

According to the Silver Alert, Lott may require medical assistance.

If you see Mr. Lott or his vehicle, please use extreme caution and contact local law enforcement immediately. DO NOT approach or make contact with him, police say he may be armed.
