CARMEL — The city of Carmel on Tuesday unveiled and installed a new roundabout sculpture at Executive Drive.
"Morning Sun" was designed by California-based artist Brad Howe, the city said. The city's street department installed the sculpture.
The sculpture is situated near the Proscenium redevelopment project and the Kroger store.
According to the city, the 16-foot-tall sculpture is made out of stainless steel and urethane and is Howe's third roundabout sculpture in Carmel. His previous sculptures include "Cyclo" at Range Line and Smoky Row and "Reckon" at Range Line and Elm Street, the city said.
