FLORA, Ind. -- A lawsuit filed by the family of four little girls who died in a fire nearly two years ago claims that appliances in the home may have been to blame for the fire.
The lawsuit, which was filed on Friday, takes aim at several companies including Sears-Kenmore and Whirlpool.
The filing says an inspection of the property on November 5 focused on the oven and range inside the home, saying the appliance was potentially the cause of the fire.

The fire happened the morning of Nov. 21, 2016. It killed four sisters -- Keyana, 11, Keyara, 8, Kerrielle, 7, and Kionne, 5. About two months later, investigators ruled the fire as arson, saying accelerants were found in a room of the house.
Indiana State Police still say the fire was set on purpose and they are looking at several "persons of interest" in the case.

A peer review conducted by the Indianapolis Fire Department in December 2017 also concluded that the fire was set on purpose.
A $5,000 reward is still being offered for any information in connection with the deadly incident.
