INDIANAPOLIS — The Landmark for Peace Memorial on the north side is now clean after someone wrote on it.

The Kennnedy-King Memorial Initiative said it appeared someone wrote on it with chalk so they were confident it would come off easily.

The initiative said the statements written on the landmark for peace were not derogatory and that they were simply the truth and an act of passion.

The landmark for peace commemorates the site where Robert Kennedy delivered his famous words on the night of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's assassination.
