INDIANAPOLIS—A man arrested for an August 2018 Indianapolis murder no longer faces charges.
34-year-old Roddrick Faulkner was shot to death in the early-morning hours of August 18, 2018 outside the Krave Event Complex in the 6400 block of West Washington Street.
Two weeks later, police arrested 31-year-old Christopher Whitfield.
He was charged with murder and was awaiting trial later this year.
But the charges have now been dropped for what the Marion County Prosecutor called "evidentiary reasons."
Faulkner’s murder remains under investigation, according to the prosecutor.
Hundreds of people had gathered in the Krave parking lot following a concert when the shooting took place.
