INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a child was accidentally shot on the south side of Indianapolis Friday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 4900 block of Sunscape Circle.
Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot injury.
The child was reported to be in stable condition.
According to police, this shooting was accidental.
